BIOGRAPHY
Jay Kortehisto is a singer and trombonist from Seinäjoki. Jay began studying trombone at the Oulunkylä Pop & Jazz Conservatory in 1994. However, the following year, he was drawn into the professional music scene. Since then, Jay has played extensively in the field of light music, ranging from jazz to pop.
He has recorded over 200 albums with various artists, played in numerous television program house bands, and performed at both domestic and international venues.
In addition to playing the trombone, singing has always been more or less a part of this musical journey. Being the lead singer of Screaming Jay & The Bones, founded in 2013, has increased the role of singing in Jay's music. Jay is known as a charismatic and expressive performer.
