Alfred Schnittken’s Cello Sonata No. 1. dives through the experience of sadness and touching timelessness into deep, shocking, and inevitable frequencies. The tireless heartbeat of the rhythm compresses and compresses. A heartbreaking cello song changes pieces in the universe.
